The Scotch Plains Recreation Commission announces that Registration for their Summer Parks Program and Small Fry Program will begin on May 2.
The Summer Parks Program, which will run Monday to Friday from July 7th to August 8th and is open to children between the ages of six and twelve, will feature new theme weeks with activities specific to the themes. Along with the themes, campers will get to play at the award-winning Scotch Hills Mini-Golf Course. Other activities include pool trips, carnival day, water day and trips for an additional fee. The registration fee for the 5-week program is $60. Those who sign up prior to June 7th, will only be charged $50. Registered campers have the option to participate at either Brookside Park or Green Forest Park.
The Small Fry Program, which will also run Monday to Friday from July 7th to August 8th for children ages three to five, introduces children to social activities. Located in Farley Park, children will meet new friends, play and share. 2 sessions are available; 9:00am to 11:15am and 11:15am to 1:30pm. Each session is limited to 25 participants. The fee for the program is $50.
Registration begins Friday May 2nd. Those interested in registering can do so at the Recreation Office located at Town Hall, Room 113.
