VOTER REGISTRATION

If you have recently moved to SCOTCH PLAINS and need to register to vote, mail-in registration forms are available through the Clerk's Office  or online from the County Clerk's Office:  clerk.ucnj.org

The deadline for registering or changing your address before this year's June 5, 2007 Primary Election is May 15, 2007.
If you are going to be out of town or unavailable to vote on Election Day, absentee ballot applications are also available at our office or on line from the County Clerk's Office: clerk.ucnj.org

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail for the Primary Election is May 29, 2007. You may also apply in person at the County Clerk's Office up until June 4, 2007 at 3:00 p.m.

All applications must be received at the County Clerk's Office for processing.

Party Affiliation -

If you wish to change your Party Affiliation for the Primary Election you must do so by April 16, 2007.  Change of Party Cards are available in our office and must be filed with the County Clerk's prior to the deadline.

School Board Election –
Deadline to register to vote for the April 17, 2007 School Board Election is March 27, 2007.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail for the School Board election is April 10, 2007.  You may also apply in person at the  County Clerk’s Office up until April 16, 2007 at 3:00 p.m.
